Do I need a Display Energy Certificate?
From 1st October 2008, all public sector occupiers of buildings over 1000m2 need to have a Display Energy Certificate (DEC) which shows the energy performance of a building based on actual energy consumption.
The DEC is required for buildings occupied by public authorities or institutions.
