Did you know that there are grants and loans available for energy efficiency improvements which can in some instances finance the whole of the capital costs of undertaking improvement works?

Loans are typically available to private sector SMEs of between £3,000 and £100,000 on an interest free basis. The amount of loan is linked to the carbon savings the scheme or improvement is projected to achieve. A separate scheme is available to some public sector organisations.

In addition there are private sector providers who may, subject to certain criteria, be able to finance improvements, lease equipment or provide a joint venture partner for your project.
